Jake has over 10 years of experience building, investing in, and advising companies in the energy, climate, security, and construction sectors. He previously co-founded Entropy Power, a developer of behind-the-meter co-located industrial loads at wholesale generators and served as Head of Transition Risk and Strategic Projects at Cervest, a UK startup focused delivering high granularity climate risk analysis to real estate and infrastructure. Previously, Jake served on the corporate strategy team at Exelon Corporation, leading projects in R&D, strategic planning, and venture capital across the categories of nuclear, solar, hydrogen, energy storage, and distributed energy resources. Prior to Exelon, Jake worked in the nuclear security sector, pursued research in nuclear fusion, and apprenticed as a construction draftsman. Jake holds a Masters in Nuclear Science & Engineering as well as a dual bachelors in physics and nuclear science & engineering from MIT.

Michael is a General partner at Engine Ventures, with a particular focus on Climate Change mitigation. He serves as a Board Member for Addis Energy, AtmosZero, Blue Energy, Mantel, Osmoses, Pascal, Sora Fuel and VEIR, and as a Board Observer for Copernic and Terragia. Michael's career spans the intersection of finance, research and entrepreneurship. Michael began on the entrepreneurship side, helping launch Ambri, a grid-scale energy storage startup where he led market and business development efforts in the early days of the energy storage industry. Michael joined the Engine Ventures after a stint in academia, as the Executive Director of the MIT Roosevelt Project. Michael holds an MS and PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he trained first in systems engineering and then economics. Mike received a BA from Williams College where he was also the captain of the Men's Basketball Team.

Steve currently serves as Executive Advisor to Blackstone. From 2017-2021, Steve served as a Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Infrastructure Portfolio operations and Asset management. Before joining Blackstone in 2017, Steve had a 24-year career at GE where he last served as the President and CEO of GE Power & Water. Steve graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Electrical Engineering from Duke University and earned a MBA from the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business.

Tom is the founding partner of At One Ventures, which backs early-stage companies using disruptive deep tech. Previous to founding At One, Tom was a founding member of Google X where he led the teams that created self-driving cars, deep learning artificial intelligence, wearable augmented reality and internet connectivity expansion. Tom has spoken at TEDx, Aspen Institute, YPO, SuperVenture, IDEO, Unreasonable and Summit at Sea. He is also a lifelong inventor, with 75 patents across hardware, software, design, and mechanical systems.

Tom O'Neill brings 25 years of power industry experience to Blue Energy. From 2001-2021, Tom held multiple senior executive positions at Exelon Corporation. He joined Exelon Nuclear as a lawyer, and in 2005, he became VP of Licensing. Tom began his career at the law firm of Jenner & Block in Chicago where he returned in 2021 as a partner and co-chair of the firm's Energy practice before joining Blue Energy in 2024. Tom holds an undergraduate degree in English from the University of Illinois and a JD from the University of Notre Dame.

Abdul Khail joins Blue Energy with over a decade of experience in project finance, infrastructure development, and renewable energy. He has supported the development and capitalization of utility-scale projects across ERCOT, NYISO, and Europe, with a focus on interconnection strategy, commercial structuring, and risk management. Prior to Blue Energy, Abdul worked across development and capital markets, supporting offshore wind developers in planning and development, supply chain buildout, and project management. Abdul holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Pace University in New York City.

Adam brings over 13 years of experience leading teams, managing construction and operations, and designing process systems. Before joining Blue Energy, Adam worked as an independent consultant serving the carbon capture, upstream, midstream, and power sectors. His background spans engineering, construction management, operations, and innovation from leading large energy-sector teams to overseeing the manufacturing of the linear motor for Hyperloop One. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arizona and an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London.

Prior to Blue Energy, Adam spent a decade at the intersection of energy transition finance and company building, advising founders, CEOs, and boards across capital raising, M&A, corporate strategy, and strategic transactions in the emerging energy and industrial sectors. He co-built and led the Growth Capital arm of Longspur Capital - one of Europe's leading specialist renewable-energy investment banks - acting as a functional extension of executive teams navigating the sharp end of the energy transition.
Adam holds a First-Class Masters in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. His background spans public and private institutional equity capital markets at Berenberg and Royal Bank of Canada, project financing, and CEO-level strategic advisory, with particular depth in first-of-a-kind project structuring, blended finance, and capital formation from innovation to infrastructure.
Adam joined Blue Energy because he believes the fastest path to affordable, abundant, clean energy runs through a fundamentally different and truly finance-friendly model of nuclear delivery. Outside of work, Adam spends time with his young family, enjoys running, golf, and meditation. If you really want to get him talking - just start riffing film quotes.

Prior to joining Blue Energy, Adam worked on the commercial team at Last Energy and the renewable energy project finance team at Fifth Third Bank. Adam has bachelor's degrees in Economics and Finance from the University of Kansas and a Master's in Finance from the University of Rochester.

Alec is a commercial energy professional with experience across power, commodities, and environmental products. Prior to joining Blue Energy, he worked at STX Group, originating and structuring transactions with utilities, corporates, developers, and market participants across power and environmental commodity markets in North America. He began his career at Eclipse, developing a foundation in energy markets, derivatives, pricing, and risk management. Alec holds a degree in Telecommunications from Penn State University.

Alex joined Blue Energy after over 10 years with the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission. He held several roles at the NRC including most recently as a technical reviewer for non-light water reactor designs, as well as in license renewal and aging management. Prior to joining the NRC, he spent almost 4 years at PPL in support of engineering and licensing the Bell Bend Project. Alex holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and a master's of engineering degree in energy systems engineering from Lehigh University.

Andy Kiss brings more than 20 years of experience delivering innovative power and infrastructure solutions to utilities, hyperscalers, and investors across North America. At BrightNight and Hull Street Energy, Andy originated and restructured power purchase agreements and developed hydro, solar, and storage solutions. Earlier in his career at Constellation Energy, Andy was a key member of the wholesale commercial team. Andy holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business and a B.S. in Economics from Kent State University.

Antonios Zoulis has more than 30 years of commercial and regulatory nuclear experience. At Blue Energy, he supports licensing activities to advance the successful licensing, construction, and operation of small modular reactors (SMRs) in the United States and internationally. Previously, Antonios held senior leadership roles at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), including Acting Deputy Director of Reactor Oversight. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan College, an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University, and an MBA from Pace University.

Bree is joining Blue Energy as the Financial Planning & Analysis lead. She comes from a solar and wind energy background, both in development and operating assets. She has been in the energy industry for about 6 years. Before that, she worked in economic consulting and got her MBA at Berkeley. She lived in California for 4 years before moving back to the DC area and settling in Maryland.
She has a (almost) 3-year-old daughter, a 1-year-old son, and a 5-year-old border collie/aussie mix. She grew up in Portugal and tries to go back twice a year to see her family.

Bryce Morrison brings over 14 years of accumulated real estate title, curative, and land acquisition knowledge to the team, with experience spanning upstream/midstream oil and natural gas assets, and utility-scale wind and solar energy development. He has spearheaded title insurance and de-risking efforts supporting delivery of utility-scale wind and solar assets, and has led development for a pipeline of diversified renewable projects across the United States.
At Apex Clean Energy, Bryce served as a Development Manager where he directed the end-to-end strategic development of renewable portfolios by prospecting new project sites, facilitating acquisitions, and evolving project footprints to secure bankable powered land resources. His background also includes significant experience in Appalachian Basin upstream and midstream assets, providing mineral title services for E&P operators across the region, and as a key member of a team facilitating M&A for gathering & transmission pipeline systems and underground gas storage. Bryce’s expertise lies in navigating complex legal, underwriting, and regulatory frameworks and building stakeholder trust to secure and preserve valuable land assets for high-stakes portfolios.
Bryce is an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL) and is a Registered Professional Landman. He holds deep proficiencies in surveys, real estate contracts and negotiation, and land management.

Callan Low is a seasoned technical recruiter with deep expertise across the energy and technology sectors. As Lead Technical Recruiter at Blue Energy, he is responsible for attracting top-tier talent across engineering, R&D, scientific innovation, commercial and more. Prior to joining Blue Energy, he worked in engineering recruitment, with a particular focus on the nuclear energy sector. Before his career in recruitment, Callan was an international basketball player for Scotland & Great Britain. He earned a full scholarship to play collegiate basketball at Newberry College and Westcliff University, where he completed a B.A. in Business Administration.

Since earning her Master of Environmental Management with a concentration in Energy from Duke University, Camille has dedicated her career to turning clean energy projects from concept into reality. She began at Avantus, developing utility-scale solar and storage projects in the CAISO market, and spent the past three years at Savion advancing solar and standalone storage projects across NYISO. Camille is thrilled to pivot into the advanced nuclear space, tackling new development challenges and helping move projects from planning to operation.

Carl Moore is an accomplished nuclear professional with over three decades of experience in nuclear power plant operations, engineering, license examinations/training, and regulatory compliance. Carl holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Iowa and was a licensed Senior Reactor Operator on both the Braidwood and Barakah nuclear power plants. Throughout Carl's career, he's led critical teams at major nuclear facilities, including the Braidwood, Barakah, and South Texas Project Nuclear Power Plants.

Carolyn has over a decade of experience designing and modeling thermal systems across a range of applications. Prior to joining Blue Energy, she worked in the aerospace and defense industries at The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory. Carolyn holds a PhD in Nuclear Science & Engineering as well as a bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.

Charlie Cole is a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong passion for nuclear energy. He has an extensive background in systems engineering, mechanical design, and supply chain optimization. He graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a B.A. in Religion, both with honors. The bulk of his professional experience has been in the nuclear industry, particularly with modular, light water reactors using steam Rankine power cycles.

Charlie has more than 30 years of experience in engineering, operations, finance, project development, and project execution in nuclear, renewables, and CCUS. Prior to joining Blue Energy, Charlie served as Director of Decarbonization at Lummus Consultants. Previously, Charlie was President at NET Power, where he oversaw engineering, construction, and commissioning of a first-of-a-kind CO2/oxy-combustion plant. Charlie has a B.S. in Systems Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and an MBA in Corporate Finance from Cornell University.

Charmaine Vistan is an operations and program management professional passionate about building efficient systems, improving processes, and keeping fast-moving teams running smoothly. Charmaine built her career across various industries and that path has taken her from the hands-on challenges of private-sector operations to the fast-paced world of USAID program management and deployments. She lives in Washington, DC with her daughter, two rabbits and two guinea pigs.

Chris brings over fifteen years of experience in project management, manufacturing operations, and process engineering. Prior to joining Blue Energy, Chris spent several years at EEW American Offshore Structures as a Senior Project Manager. Chris also held management positions at Holtec International, where he served as a Product Line Manager and Site Project Manager during the construction phase of a new advanced manufacturing plant in Camden, NJ.

Chris is a BIM Modeler & Renderer at Blue Energy, specializing in the architectural design and DfMA of multi-trade modular systems. Before joining Blue Energy, Chris served as the Director of Product at Last Energy, where he led the BIM integration for their modular power products. He holds a professional Bachelor of Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Prior to joining Blue Energy, CJ served over two decades at the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission, most recently as the Chief of Staff to Commissioner David A. Wright. From 2020-2022, CJ was assigned to the Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA) in Paris, where he served as Deputy Director of the Nuclear Safety Division. CJ is a licensed professional engineer and holds a bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering from Georgia Tech and a master's degree in nuclear engineering from MIT.

Mr. Brown is a seasoned Engineer and Project Lead with extensive expertise in CPM scheduling, bid scheduling, project governance, cost control, earned value management, risk management, and life cycle costing. He has a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams, driving alignment across stakeholders, and developing streamlined processes to enhance project execution. With experience managing multiple large, full-scale, full life cycle implementations, he has successfully guided both functional and technical teams while mentoring and developing talent within project organizations. Recognized for his leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, Mr. Brown is adept at fostering collaboration and ensuring teams stay aligned with corporate goals.Expertise: Experienced in Pharmaceutical, Construction, Renewable Energy, Nuclear, Government, Hydrogen, Oil & Gas, Energy & Chemicals, and Power Infrastructure industries, including Data Centers, Substation, Transmission Line, and Distribution Line projects, as well as related technologies.

Cody Jacobucci is the Chief of Staff and a Founding Engineer at Blue Energy. Prior to Blue Energy, Cody spent nearly a decade designing and optimizing next-generation autonomous aircraft across SpaceX, Aurora Flight Sciences, and Boeing. Cody holds two degrees in mechanical engineering from MIT and an honorary degree from the University of Cambridge as an MIT-Cambridge Fellow.

Prior to joining Blue Energy, David worked for over 5 years at the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission where he served as a Reliability and Risk Analyst and Technical Reviewer. David previously worked for 10 years at Sargent & Lundy, L.L.C., most recently as a Senior Project Engineer in the Nuclear Technology and Regulations Group. David received a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Edward Miller is an experienced Environment & Sustainability Manager and Licensed Professional Civil Engineer with over two decades of experience. He served as the Head of Environmental Management, Compliance, & Sustainability for the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant Project in Abu Dhabi, UAE. While at Constellation Energy, Mr. Miller played a pivotal role in the nuclear division as the Environmental Program Manager for the UniStar Calvert Cliffs Unit 3 EPR project.

Gilbert Nieto is a senior document control and information management professional with over 20 years of experience supporting complex engineering and energy projects. He has held senior and leadership roles with organizations including Chevron, KBR, Fluor, and Total Energies, specializing in document governance, EDMS administration, program development, and project turnover. He also previously served as a Police Officer, further strengthening his leadership, accountability, and ability to perform under pressure.
Also, a former United States Marine, Gilbert brings discipline and a mission-focused mindset to every engagement. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his family and the family dog.

Prior to joining Blue Energy, Jack accumulated more than 15 years of experience in the nuclear propulsion, aerospace and advanced nuclear sectors. At BAE Systems he was part of the design team for the PWR3 on the Dreadnaught-class submarine program. He then designed and tested electronic equipment for communication satellites at Airbus Defence & Space. He has held roles as Head of Neutronics, Technology Manager, and Chief Engineer at Tokamak Energy.

Jake advises Blue Energy on operations and finance, bringing over 10 years of executive leadership experience. At Two Sigma, Jake serves as a VP of Product for a substantial portion of the systematic equities business. Previously, Jake served as Head of Product at Flex. His experience includes product leadership roles at Instagram and Yelp. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Molecular Biology from MIT.

Jake joined Blue Energy full-time after interning the previous summer. He completed his bachelor's degree and a master of science degree in nuclear engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). His thesis examined public support for nuclear energy and nuclear repositories in Illinois. Before working at Blue Energy, he interned at the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission under the Division of Risk Assessment. There, he updated and streamlined risk analysis models for the US nuclear power plants’ FLEX systems with new and consistent data. He is also an active member of the American Nuclear Society, being a voting member of the Student Sections Committee and a former president of the UIUC student section. In his free time, Jake enjoys playing trivia, board games, and video games with his friends. He also loves D&D and other role-playing games.

Jared Conway is a Senior Nuclear and Mechanical Engineer at Blue Energy, where he leads design and engineering initiatives across the entire plant. A distinguished MIT graduate with a degree in Nuclear Science and Engineering, Jared earned the prestigious Roy Axford Award for academic excellence. Prior to joining Blue Energy, Jared served with distinction as a submarine officer aboard the USS Pennsylvania (SSBN 735) Blue Crew, earning two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals and recognition as Junior Officer of the Year in 2023. Jared lives in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Javier has more than 20 years of experience designing, specifying, installing, and maintaining instrumentation and electrical systems, spanning 24 VDC controls to 138 kV distribution. Prior to joining Blue Energy, he gained extensive experience in petrochemical plants and refineries. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston and recently obtained his Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Texas.

Jen is an operations professional with a background in performance sport, bringing a structured and people-focused approach to Blue Energy. She supports operational systems, processes, people coordination, and executive administration. She holds a BSc in Physiology & Sport Science and an MRes in Strength & Conditioning Technology. Jen lives in the Scottish Borders and is based in the Edinburgh office.

Jennifer brings over 20 years of experience delivering large-scale EPC projects in the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining Blue Energy, Jennifer built her career at TechnipFMC and Huntsman. She was instrumental in embedding structured change and risk management practices into project delivery. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Operations Management from the University of Houston.

John has more than a decade of project finance and development experience in the energy industry, spanning nuclear, LNG, oil and gas, refinery, petrochemical and renewable sectors. Prior to joining Blue Energy, he was a Vice President at Greengate LLC, an independent financial advisory firm specializing in complex project, corporate and hybrid financings for energy and infrastructure projects around the world. John holds an M.A. from the Fletcher School at Tufts University and a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania.

John has over 30 years' experience in New Product Introduction, Project and Business Development and Project Delivery, gained in the Marine, Aerospace, Defence, Energy and Nuclear sectors. Before joining Blue Energy, he served as CTO in Assystem and HiiROC, Programme Director and Chief Engineer in Rolls-Royce and founding Technical Director in Intelligent Energy and KAD Nuclear. He has an honours degree in aeronautical engineering and is a Chartered Engineer.

John has over 26 years in Project Director, Manager and Engineering Manager roles on Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects. He now leads the Port of Victoria gas to nuclear FOAK power project execution with Blue Energy. John has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Chemistry from Texas Tech University and served in the US Marine Corps.

Jon-Paul has almost 2 decades of recruitment and talent acquisition experience. Starting his career in oil & gas, he transitioned into the clean technology space in 2017. Jon-Paul is passionate about understanding what motivates talented people and the energy transition and is excited to sit at the intersection of these two things in his role with Blue Energy as Principle Technical Recruiter.
Prior to joining Blue Energy, he was the Head of Talent Acquisition for Brookfield Renewable. Based out of the DC office, Jon-Paul can be found most weekends trying to keep up with his daughters and trying to bring his golf handicap down.

With over 20 years of experience in the Power Systems Operations and Operations Engineering space, Josh is dedicated to ensuring Blue Energy's projects enhance grid reliability. In addition to roles in System Operations, Josh has held positions including Principal Engineer of Solution Optimization, Director of Interconnection, Director of Utilities & Infrastructure. After retiring from the US Marine Corps in 2014, Josh completed his MBA through Liberty University.

Juan Carlos Puente brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in the energy sector, spanning Renewables, Oil & Gas, and Chemicals. He has held multiple senior finance roles at Shell plc. From 2022 to 2025, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Atlantic Shores Offshore Wind, where he oversaw the company's transformation from a start-up into a mid-sized enterprise. He led the formulation of strategic and funding plans exceeding $5 billion in debt financing.

Julie Le Négaret is a Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and holds a First-Class Honours degree in Mechanical Design Engineering from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne, awarded in 2019. At Gravitricity, Julie contributed to the design and delivery of a 250kW gravity energy demonstrator, for which she won the 2023 Scottish Renewable Innovator Award.

EA to the CEO and Corporate Operations Manager with a hands-on approach to building smart, scalable operations. Works across leadership, finance, and cross-functional teams to ensure the business runs smoothly and can grow with confidence. Passionate about using Microsoft 365 to create practical systems, and enjoys turning busy, fast-moving environments into structured, efficient, and well-run spaces.

Kody Olsen is an accomplished supply chain and contracts leader with over fifteen years of experience driving complex procurement and contracting strategy across the liquefied natural gas, mining, and oil and gas industries in the United States and Canada.
Prior to joining Blue Energy, Kody served as Director, Contract Management at Venture Global LNG, where he was responsible for overseeing contracts across the full contract lifecycle for the owner-furnished equipment (OFE) business line.
Throughout his career, Kody has held progressive leadership roles at companies including Canadian Natural Resources, Kinder Morgan, and Newmont Corporation, consistently delivering measurable results through competitive negotiation, risk mitigation, and strategic supplier partnerships. He has deep expertise in construction and contracting law, supply chain risk management, and contract lifecycle governance, with a track record of achieving significant cost savings and successfully resolving high-stakes commercial disputes. He brings this expertise to Blue Energy's mission of deploying next-generation small modular reactor technology, where rigorous procurement and contract strategy are critical to project execution.

Prior to joining Blue Energy, Lee served as the CEO of American Offshore Structures at EEW Group, focusing on building the offshore wind industry in the US. Previously, Laurendeau served as Director of Operations at Holtec International. He also served as the Director Business Development at Johnson Controls. He received his Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology and his Master's in Engineering Management from NJIT.

Lydia is a recent graduate of University of Maryland, where she earned a master's degree in Nuclear Chemistry, following a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from University of Charleston, West Virginia. At UMD, Lydia trained as a reactor operator for the UMD TRIGA reactor and conducted research on Pb-Pb collisions at the LHC in collaboration with CERN.

Matt has 15 years of experience leading technical organizations and developing products for businesses, consumers, and universities. Matt previously co-founded Vowel, a venture-backed AI/video company acquired by Zapier. Before that, Matt led the technical team in the Systemized Intelligence Lab at Bridgewater Associates. Matt holds a bachelor's degree in Ethics, Politics & Economics from Yale University.

Mimi brings over a decade of legal and commercial experience advising developers, operating companies, investors, lenders across a broad range of energy and infrastructure projects. Before joining Blue Energy, Mimi served as Senior Counsel, SVP, at Orion Infrastructure Capital (OIC), a +$5bn AUM private credit fund. Previously, she was an associate in Milbank's Global Projects, Energy and Infrastructure Group and Linklater's Debt Finance practice. Mimi holds a JD from NYU School of Law and a BA from Georgetown University.

Nate brings more than fourteen years of diverse experience in the nuclear industry. Since entering the industry in 2011, he has held roles spanning manufacturing operations, shop floor supervision, and quality program development. Prior to joining Blue Energy, he built and implemented the Corrective Action Program at X-energy from the ground up. Outside of work, he is active in the rugby community as a certified USA Rugby coach and referee.

Neil is a consulting chartered engineer with over 18 years of experience in offshore oil and gas, renewables, and shipbuilding. A subject matter expert in the engineering, design, and detailing of steel structures, his experience spans the theoretical and practical, having experience in both the design office and in the fabrication yard.

Nelson brings over a decade of experience across the energy, infrastructure, and financial services sectors, with a background spanning technical accounting, financial reporting, and operational finance. Nelson is a Certified Public Accountant and brings a practical, hands-on approach to financial leadership. He is focused on building strong financial foundations that enable companies to scale and execute on large infrastructure initiatives.

Paulina has over 10 years of experience designing complex systems and leading multidisciplinary teams, from consumer electronics to emerging technologies. Paulina works in Google's Technology & Society team, evaluating and guiding new AI advances through speculative design. She previously worked as a product design engineer, scaling prototypes to mass produced products, including Apple's first MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. Paulina holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.

Quality Management professional with more than 16 years of program and personnel leadership. Experienced in all things quality, through 33+ years in quality & manufacturing, in numerous industries. Starting as a shipyard nuclear QC inspector to developing and managing the entirety of several Nuclear Quality Programs. Proudly served as an aircrew member in the US Air Force.

Prior to joining Blue Energy, Sarah was an Engagement Manager and Expert in the Global Energy Practice at McKinsey & Company where she specialized in energy transition and growth strategy. Earlier in her career, Sarah worked at National Grid where she supported renewable energy interconnections and helped operationalize a state-level incentive program. She holds a B.A. in Environmental Science from Boston University.

Sero Yang is a Senior Nuclear Engineer at Blue Energy, specializing in nuclear thermal hydraulics safety and high-performance energy conversion systems. Before joining Blue Energy, he served as a Principal Nuclear Engineer at Argonne National Laboratory. Sero holds a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from Texas A&M University, a MS in Mechanical Engineering from Handong Global University, and BS in Mechanical and Electrical Control Engineering from Handong Global University.

Steve Frenkel leads Blue Energy's commercial and development teams to deliver firm, clean, and reliable nuclear power that can scale to meet accelerating load growth driven by utility and data center demand.
Steve brings more than 20 years of experience working across nearly every part of the energy transition, including origination, commercial strategy, project development, as well as policy and regulatory affairs. Most recently, he led origination for giga-scale power generation and HVDC transmission projects.
Steve began his career as a public radio journalist covering energy and the environment and then helped shape energy and climate policy for the State of Illinois. After helping to accelerate adoption of innovative Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) financing mechanisms, Steve led the Midwest office of the Union of Concerned Scientists to advocate for RTO policy reforms to support clean energy resources. He then served as executive director of a water-technology innovation platform, where he brought together utilities, entrepreneurs, and investors to accelerate technology commercialization.
From policy and innovation, Steve moved into project development and origination as Vice President of Origination at Invenergy where he structured gigawatt-scale offtake agreements and developed firm energy products tailored to hyperscale and utility customers.
Steve holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Master of Public Policy from UC Berkeley's Goldman School of Public Policy.

Ted's 30+ years of experience includes leadership positions driving and executing company strategy, commercial and project development and asset management in power generation, energy and related industries. At Wood Group and a Siemens Energy joint venture he held senior management roles. At CAMS, an Arclight Capital & SVG joint venture, Ted led new business and commercial development. Ted holds a BA degree in International Business and Russian Language from Hartwick College.

Walter brings over fifteen years of experience in nuclear materials engineering, fuel development, and regulatory research. Prior to joining Blue Energy, Walter spent a decade at Idaho National Laboratory, where he focused on nuclear fuel development and materials engineering. He also served in the NRC's Office of Research and in the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation as a technical reviewer for advanced reactors. Walter holds a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from Purdue University.

Wayne joins Blue Energy as Director of Procurement, bringing over two decades of experience in the power industry building global supply chain teams and executing more than 20GW of utility-scale power projects worldwide. Prior to Blue Energy, Wayne served as Director of Supply Chain Management & Logistics for HyAxiom Inc. His career spans various leadership positions at GE Power (now GE Vernova) and Alstom Power. Wayne is an Industrial Engineer from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa.
